I believe Jodi Picoult has a gift for writing novels that make me see the thoughts and feelings of each character. This book is no exception. In this book, we meet Jacob, an 18 year old child with Asperger’s Syndrome who has been accused of murder. Jacob’s mom hires Oliver, a very new lawyer who has never tried a court case, to defend Jacob. An amazing story that made me chuckle several times as it is so true to life. A great read!
