I enjoy this mystery series featuring Anna Pigeon as a Park Ranger who ends up solving murder mysteries, hopefully far more frequent than in real life. This installment is in the winter on an ice-bound island in Lake Superior. The additional challenges of sub-zero weather and potential killer wolves add some spice. The human animal, though, is as usual, the most deadly.
