This is my all time favorite book. I try and read it at least once a year. It is a funny, dramatic, and sad book all in one. I can really relate to the characters and each time I read it I find a different connection. I have read other books by Wally Lamb and they are good, but this one by far is my favorite. It is about a girl who lives in a weird family situation and it is her attempt at overcoming that as well as finding herself that is so attractive in this book. You find yourself desiring to know what Delores will do next. It is not a book for everyone but I have found it to be a book that speaks to me time and time again.
