A typical Nora Roberts mystery/romance, which I usually find fantastic and enjoyable. The story revolves around a group of fire jumpers who essentially co-exist during the summer and fall months, in order to be available for immediate action if/when a destructive fire occurs within their area. The typical heroine struggles with trust and eventually “falls” for one of her fellow fire jumpers. The mystery is intertwined within the storyline and keeps the reader interested and curious to find out who is responsible for some of the re-occurring problems.
