London Olympics? Yep, There’s an App for That

As you may have noticed, library staff members are geeking out over this year’s summer games. BBC Sport’s app will stream events live, provide results, schedules, commentary and more. It’s available for free for Apple, Android and Blackberry devices.

NBC is promoting its “Olympics on the Go” tools, including a mobile website and free apps for Apple and Android mobile devices and tablets. This app delivers NBC Olympic coverage, schedules, results, medal counts and opportunities to connect with other Olympic die-hards via your favorite social networks.
