I liked how “Saving Max” kept me reading and wondering what would happen to the main characters and how each one would fall into the plot. I didn’t like that at some points it seemed to drag on and could have been trimmed up, but that could have been because I really wanted to get to the ending.
Three words that describe this book: great suspense story
You might want to pick this book up if: You like stories about families who have children with special needs and how the justice system works for them. Also, if you like “House Rules” by Jodi Picoult.

Thanks for the review, Stephanie. I’m glad you enjoyed the novel. (Next time I’ll try to trim it up a little, okay?) Best, Antoinette
