If you’ve ever considered going vegan — or simply wanted to learn more about the vegan lifestyle — then “Main Street Vegan” is a must-read. Moran paints a very thorough picture of veganism that inspires, informs and educates. She does not aggressively force the lifestyle on readers but rather engages them in a conversation, discussing everything from vitamins to vegan apparel. Any question you’ve ever had about veganism is answered in this book in a thoughtful, well-researched manner. For those interested in cooking, Moran also ends every chapter with a delicious vegan recipe.
Three words that describe this book: diet, lifestyle, compassion
You might want to pick this book up if: You’re considering going vegan, are curious about the vegan lifestyle or have a close friend and/or family member who is vegan.
